India have come out as major beneficiaries of the new Future Tours Programme, which was ratified by the ICC board at its annual conference in Hong Kong. As reported first by ESPNcricinfo on June 25, India, England and Australia will feature in most Tests among the Full Members, and India will play the top teams more frequently than they have in recent years. Also, the Champions League Twenty20 has an official annual window in September, while the IPL seems to have an unofficial one, with few international series scheduled in April and May, allowing most players to participate in it.India, currently No. 1 in the ICC Tests rankings, will play 102 Tests between now and April 2020, including the current Test in Bridgetown. One-fifth of those matches (21) will be against England. In fact, India will travel to England twice to play a five-match series in 2014 and 2018. Apart from the Ashes, no other Test series involves five matches. In the next eight years, India will play Australia twice at home and twice away – all four-match Test series – and South Africa in four three-Test series.Another significant detail in the FTP is that Pakistan are scheduled to tour India for three Tests and five ODIs in March-April 2012. If the tour goes ahead, it will be the first Test series between the two countries since 2007, after which political relations between the two countries were strained in the aftermath of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.The FTP has accounted for the Test championship play-offs to be played in England summers in 2013 and then in 2017.In what is likely to come as respite for some, there are far fewer match-ups between India and Sri Lanka. The two subcontinent neighbours played each other in nine Tests, 30 ODIs and four Twenty20s between July 2008 and the 2011 World Cup final, which was deemed monotonous by critics. India will play just 12 Tests against Sri Lanka in the next nine years, and there will be only two bilateral ODI series between the two teams. As reported earlier, India will not host both Bangladesh and Zimbabwe for either Test or ODIs, though they will tour Bangladesh twice, in 2014 and again in 2015, and Zimbabwe twice, in 2013 and 2016.England and Australia will play 109 and 107 Tests respectively between now and April 2020, with five Ashes series planned – three in England and two in Australia. South Africa will play just 82 Tests and have long winter-breaks. New Zealand will contest in 80, Sri Lanka 88 and West Indies 84. Pakistan, who have had to play their home series at neutral venues in recent times due to security concerns in their own country, will host Bangladesh and Australia in 2012, and South Africa in 2013. They will play 88 Tests in total till April 2020.

Suriname faltered in the chase, stuttering on 30 for 3 but Arun Gokoel’s steady 36 (off 39 balls) ensured victory for Suriname after 19 overs.Bermuda stormed to a 10 wicket win over Cayman Islands. Bermuda put Cayman Islands in to bat and were rewarded for their decision as they restricted their opposition to 87 for 8. Sixteen-year-old Kamau Leverock took 3 for 13 for Bermuda and only Steve Gordon (23 off 23 balls) and Pearson Best (22 off 38 balls) reached a score of higher than 10 for Cayman Islands. Bermuda eased to victory in less than 16 overs, with Lional Cann (54 off 43 balls) scoring the bulk of their runs. Captain David Hemp was unbeaten on 24 (off 49 balls).

Após 38 jogos e quatro, em quase quatro anos de Flamengo, Ederson está fora dos planos do Rubro-Negro. Se depender do atleta, uma conversa para renovar o contrato ainda poder ser iniciada, mesmo com o fim se aproximando. Até agora, nem Ederson e nem agentes foram procurados. Nas últimas reuniões da diretoria, levantou -se a possibilidade de prolongar até dezembro, mas o assunto nunca andou.

-Meu contrato acaba dia 30. Gostaria de ter a oportunidade de renovar e dar continuidade, mas isso não tem que partir de mim. Se o Flamengo quiser conversar vou estar sempre aberto – comentou o jogador, após a vitória sobre o Bahia. Ele foi relacionado nesta partida.

O salário de Ederson no Rubro-Negro está entre o mais altos e saída do jogador é vista com bons olhos para enxugar a folha salarial, como foi o caso de Paolo Guerrero. A renovação com o peruano também não vai ocorrer, ainda mais com a suspensão de oito meses a ser cumprida, por doping, após a Copa. Sobre o futuro, Ederson ainda desconversa.

علق طارق العشري، المدير الفني لفريق سموحة، على هزيمة فريقه أمام الأهلي في بطولة كأس مصر.

وخسر سموحة من الأهلي بثلاثة أهداف مقابل هدف في المباراة التي أقيمت بينهما على استاد القاهرة الدولي، في نصف نهائي الكأس.

وقال العشري في تصريحات بالمؤتمر الصحفي: “المبارة قُتلت في 7 دقائق بخطأين غير متوقعين من حراسة المرمى، أمام الأهلي تلعب على التفاصيل”.

وتابع: “الهدفان أثرا للغاية على معنويات الفريق، كنت أريد أن أخرج من الشوط الأول بأقل الخسائر، والشوط الثاني نقلل الفارق ولا نستقبل أهدافًا”.

وأكمل: “هذه هي مباريات الكؤوس لو لم تحذر ستعاقب، أحيي اللاعبين على الشوط الثاني ونستعد بقوة لمباراة سيراميكا في الدوري”.

وأضاف: “أنا مستمر مع سموحة، ولو أنا السبب في المشكلة سأرحل، وأحيي أعضاء مجلس الإدارة على تمسكهم بي، ولو استقلت لن أدرب”.

وزاد: “ظهر عدم تركيز الهاني سليمان لذلك قمت بتغييره، الفريق تأثر بالهدفين (ميدخلوش) في الهاني سليمان، وحظ سيئ له في مباراة اليوم”.

وواصل: “مع ضغط الأهلي كان ممكن السيناريو الخاص بنا يتم تنفيذه، لكن استقبلنا الأهداف بأخطاء حارس المرمى، ووارد أن يكون ليس في يومه، وهو أنقذ الفريق في أوقات سابقة”.

وعن حسام حسن قال: “حسام حسن قائد ويتحسن ولم يحصل على فرصته مع الأهلي، وأحاول مساعدته”.

وزاد: “زياد طارق تدرب معي منذ أسبوع فقط، ولم أراه بشكل كامل، فهو لاعب جيد لكن يحتاج الانسجام، وأيضا أنا أملك لاعبين في نفس مركزه يؤدون جيدًا”.

واختتم تصريحاته: “لم يعرض علينا زياد طارق، ولم أوافق على رحيل خالد عبد الفتاح، ولدي مشكلة أخرى أن محمود شبانة سيعود للزمالك وعقده يسمح بقطع الإعارة، أشكر مرتضى منصور رئيس الزمالك، لأنني تواصلت معه شخصيًا وطلبت أن يتواجد اللاعب لنهاية الموسم، لكنه قال لي سيستطلع رأي فيريرا في البداية، وأشكره”.

Andy Flower says that England will seek to defend their new status as the world’s No. 1 Test side by attacking a series of short-term goals, starting with the winter tours of Pakistan and Sri Lanka, as they set about reassessing their priorities in the wake of a crushing innings-and-242-run triumph against India at Edgbaston on Saturday.That performance, which was built on the back of Alastair Cook’s career-best 294, took England to an unassailable 3-0 series lead with just the Oval Test to come later this week, and ensured that, in little more than two years since the squad was torn apart by the falling-out between the then-captain and coach, Kevin Pietersen and Peter Moores, England have surged to the top of the world Test rankings.Flower, however, is already looking to the future as he plots a means to turn England’s spell at the top into something longer lasting. Writing in his Daily Telegraph column, Shane Warne conceded that the current England team has the look and feel of long-term champions, with big-match temperaments in every position from 1 to 11.Such heightened new expectations will be tough for Flower’s men to live up to, but he believes that two challenges in particular – the forthcoming challenge in the subcontinent, and the inaugural World Test Championship in 2013 – will provide all the focus his players need to ensure their ranking looks after itself.”I always think it is very dangerous to try to hold on to what you have got,” Flower told reporters after the Edgbaston Test. “We used that goal – to be No1 – as a motivational tool that drove us in training and in matches. Now that we have achieved that, what [Andrew] Strauss and I don’t want to do is hang on to No. 1 status. That’s not a very exciting way to go about our business. We are going to have to reset our goals.”This winter we go to play against two countries that the last time England toured those countries, we lost. We want to go away and play Pakistan and Sri Lanka away from home and win those series. Ignoring the ranking, those series will have their own importance.”We’ve also got the World Test Championship for the first time in 2013 and that’s in our own country. That is certainly something we are striving for – we have to be in the top four to get into the semi- finals of it and we are going to be working hard between now and then to ensure we are a strong unit ready for that semi-final.”It was a tour of Pakistan that ended England’s last comparable run of sustained form six years ago, when the 2005 Ashes winners were stunned by an unlikely defeat in Multan then crushed by an innings in Lahore. The squad never recovered its momentum after their run of six consecutive series wins had been ended, and Flower is wary that a similar fate can still await this team if they allow their guard to drop.”Now we are ranked No.1, people will be very hungry to knock us off that perch. There is no doubt about that,” said Flower. “It is one thing being good for a short period of time – but having a side that delivers some special results and has some special times together that they will remember for the rest of their lives, that will be a much better thing to look back on than a few victories here and there.”To that end, Flower heaped praise on his Test captain, Strauss, whom he lauded as a “an outstanding leader and a special man”. The pair bonded in the Caribbean during England’s tour in the spring of 2009, where a disastrous collapse to 51 all out in the first Test in Sabina Park gave both men the licence they needed to mould the team in their own driven images. “The players, after being asked to embrace responsibility, have delivered,” he said. “Strauss asked that of them when he took over the captaincy a couple of years ago, and they are repaying him.”At the age of 34, Strauss may not have many more series left at the helm, and so the prospect of taking part in the Ashes double-header in 2013-14 could prove to be a very personal motivation for the final stage of his career. However, his deputy, Cook, has enhanced his credentials as a leader, both through the sheer weight of his batting performances, and latterly through his impressive series win over Sri Lanka in the ODIs. The succession, it would appear, is in safe hands, which lends weight to the perception that England could yet establish a dynasty to rival those of West Indies and Australia in the past 30 years.Flower, however, does not want to address such grandiose ambitions, and prefers to keep his goals closer to home. “That isn’t a very clear target as yet,” he said. “I like goals to be fairly specific. I don’t think we can compare ourselves to those sides, to be quite honest. They dominated world cricket for lengthy periods. We have been playing well for a little while now but only for a short time in cricketing history terms.”Who knows what the future holds though? That is going to be up to us.”

A sixth-wicket partnership of 188 in 49 overs between Chris Rogers and John Simpson enabled Middlesex to hold Northamptonshire, County Championship Division Two leaders, to a draw at Lord’s and remain only seven points behind with a game in hand.It looked as though Middlesex were on their way to only their second defeat of the season when they slumped to 78 for 5, still four runs away from avoiding an innings defeat, but they batted all day to finish on 313 for 8.Rogers, who had two seasons with Northamptonshire in 2006 and 2007 as well as spells with Leicestershire and Derbyshire, made 145 before he was leg before to the occasional leg-spin of Rob White. Simpson, the wicketkeeper who has forced his way into the Middlesex side on the strength of his batting, had scored 72 when he was bowled playing across the line against Luke Evans.Middlesex had started the final day 24 runs behind at 58 for 4 and they had added only 20 when Jamie Dalrymple, who had helped Rogers add 47 for the fifth wicket, was bowled by Chaminda Vaas for 23.They were still only 36 ahead when Rogers, then on 61, edged Andrew Hall, the Northamptonshire captain, to second slip where Rob White put down a straightforward catch and they were no more than 150 runs on when Simpson, on 47, was badly dropped by Hall himself at slip off James Middlebrook.Those dropped catches were to cost Northamptonshire dearly and their frustration showed as the day wore on. Rogers went on to reach his third championship hundred of the season in the last over before lunch when he pulled off spinner Alex Wakely’s first two balls for six and he had also struck 19 fours in his 145 off 238 balls when he played back to White and fell leg before.Middlesex were then 184 runs ahead and their lead had been stretched to 209 by the time Simpson, who had faced 174 balls and hit nine fours, was out.In between, Lee Daggett had Steven Crook caught at slip but that was academic because Northamptonshire had already settled for 11 points and Middlesex nine to extend the gap between themselves and third-placed Derbyshire.

وتابع: “عندما غادر بيب جوارديولا النادي ووقع مع بايرن ميونخ، سألني ماذا يحدث معي من خطأ، كان له دور مهم في انتقالي إلى هناك، كنت بحاجة إلى دقائق في المباريات، يجب أن ألعب”.

وأضاف: “لقد رأيت تحديًا كبيرًا في بايرن ميونخ، فازوا ببطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا، أردت أن أفعل الشيء نفسه”.

الجدير بالذكر أن تياجو حقق لقب دوري أبطال أوروبا مع بايرن ميونخ في عام 2020 ليكرر إنجازه في عام 2011 مع برشلونة.
